Module 15: MV Cable; Installation, Pull Calcs, and Megger Testing

Medium-voltage cable installation is the highest-consequence electrical work on a BESS site. A failed MV cable means a system outage that cannot be quickly remediated. The most common causes of MV cable failures are installation errors — damage during pulling, improper terminations, inadequate testing — that could have been prevented with proper planning and QC. This module covers the planning, execution, and testing that makes MV cable installation reliable.
